Review Date: July 15, 2010
Reviewer: H. Oh,
The motherboard went bad, and lost all the precious memories and data. During the five month, it was great computer, and I took extra care for it. Battery is very short too. Maybe less than 2 hours.

Reviewer: Ernest Barnes,
The Acer Aspire laptop was delivered sooner than expected because the seller chose to send it priority mail without charging for it. I've been exceptionally well pleased with the product. I'm amazed at the speed and user friendliness of the laptop. I would highly recommend this seller for his integrity and delivering better than expected products.
Acer Aspire One

Review Date: March 11, 2010
Reviewer: Angela H. Ramirez,
had mine for just over a year and the system crashed. I contacted Acer and they stated that's i will have to pay $[...] to fix the problem. That about 2/3 what i paid for it. I do own two other laptops, one is over 10 year old and the other is 8 years old and they both still work. I will be investing in a more reliable netbook soon.
notebook review

Review Date: February 14, 2010
Reviewer: Tatiana,
i was expecting a tiny laptop and when i received this, it was great to look at because it is miniature. the operating system is linux and until now i wasn't familiar with it (like most people im sure). it is not upgradable, not user friendly for the person who has computer knowledge, no bells or whistles, and i can't even install the java applet to run a certain instant messenger. it has several games you can play but not full versions: you need to pay $16 to upgrade to the full version BUT it's only one level....as soon as you finish the "level" it says "game over"! $16 for a one level/one board game?! I purchased this computer so i could use instant messenger in another room because my computer room is inadequate but haven't been able to run the program so it's quite useless to me. it sits on my desk in hopes that one day i may be able to install windows on it. Linux is a garbage operating system that doesn't allow the owner to delete, install, or open. i did not like this fraudulent computer.
Acer ruined my unit

Review Date: October 26, 2009
Reviewer: C. hoffman,
I had this unit little over a year. Battery started not holding charge, so went on the Acer website. They said to flash the bios to update them. I preformed this correctly and it fried my motherboard. Called Acer and asked why they had directions posted on their website that would fry my motherboard, they argued with me and offered no help. Warning to anyone if you buy and Acer, be prepared for horrible customer service and do not listen to any advice they give on the website. Other than that I loved this unit and will miss it.
